Autograph "Personalization" Services
For years I have, for special friends and steady customers, offered a service where I would get dedications and inscriptions on individual items just for them. They pay a little extra and get an awesome collectible. Since, a large part of collecting autographs and memorabilia is that "personal" touch, I have tenatively decided to offer this service to all my customers.
On any card, photograph or other appropriate item that I carry to, or acquire at, any convention, or get signed through personal signings, I will get the item personalized to your request.
This could include, but is not limited to:
- Dedications
- "Your Name"
- "Your Nickname"
- Inscriptions
- "Live Long And Prosper"
- "May The Force Be With You"
- "Love"
- "Best Wishes"
- "XX00XX"
- Dedicated Inscriptions
- "Your Name, Thanks For Being My Greatest Fan!
- "Your Name, Thanks For Supporting My Charity!
These are just examples, of course! What you want is only limited by the available space, common decency and restrictions as detailed in the simple rules stated below.

No Hotel Room Costs.
No Convention Fees.
No Lost Time From Work (yes, we all have day jobs).
No standing in a TWO HOUR line for registration (DragonCon Preregistered 2004, DragonCon walk-up 2003, ...).
No standing in a THREE HOUR PLUS lines for your autograph.
EVEN IF you are attending the same convention, let me do the work for you - you have better things to do than to stand in the lines!
PLEASE READ!
Ordering, bidding on and/or winning an item implies your agreement with the terms and/or rules listed on this item.
As the signers have to take more time with these, they sometimes charge me more for them, and almost never give me a "dealer" break on them. Where they do charge more, that extra cost will be your responsibility - I will get and provide receipts and send you an invoice after the event.
I will prepare and attach a clear "printed" example to each item of what is desired for the signer to follow, based on your request.
Where possible, you may also select the suggested positioning for the text and the signature, the color of the ink, the thickness of the pentip, etc. I have a web page designed to collect this data, but you can easily provide me this via email.
Note: If the star/signer chooses to ignore any of these suggestions, you are still responsible for payment - and no refund will be made.
I will provide digital images of the item being signed and/or me with the signer (where possible). For example:
I will provide a printed Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to accompany the item stating the date, event, signer, etc. as well as my full contact information.
Rules:
- Everything (signature, requested inscription, etc) must fit on the item being signed.
- Nothing inappropriately lewd or offensive to the signer.
- If it is complicated and the signer messes up, you are responsible for the cost of the "messed up" card/item as well as the signed one (this will be at no more than 60% of fair market value - unless special ordered specifically for you - then it is exact cost).
- If you are not happy with the way the signer carried out your suggestion, or basically for any reason other than non-completion, you are still responsible for payment.
- Refunds: To simplify this, let me be clear: once I have spent money to get there, used materials, time, effort and/or contacts to perform the service, I have rendered the service for the fee paid and it is not refundable.
- If at anytime you become too overbearing, demanding, or in anyway "whiney" during the entire transaction, I will politely refund your money, add you to my "junk email senders list", my eBay "blocked bidders list" and mourn the passing of our business relationship.
- Oh, and I reserve the right to refuse this service to anyone, for any reason, at anytime.
Fees:
- Inscribed Dedications - Cost + $25.00 Per Signer Per Item
For example: if the signer is charging $20.00, then for your mere total of $45.00, you get a priceless personalized collectable to be cherished for life!

- Shipping & Handling:
- First Class Mail to any United States address in a well protected, clearly addressed bubble envelope is $2.00 (additional cards shipped at the same time are an additional $0.50 each).
- Priority Mail to any United States address in a well protected, clearly addressed bubble envelope is $4.50 (additional cards shipped at the same time - up to 50 are free after that, varies by weight).
- Air Mail to any Non-United States address in a well protected, clearly addressed bubble envelope is $3.50 (additional cards shipped at the same time are an additional $0.50 each).
- Global Priority Mail to any appropriate Non-United States address in a well protected, clearly addressed bubble envelope is $6.50 (additional cards shipped at the same time - up to 12 are an additional $0.50 each, after that, rate varies by country and weight).
Insurance is highly recommended for all items. But, not required. If not insured, I will not be responsible for the items lost or damaged in transit and will not make any refund without it.
- Additional:
- Cards - I have a MASSIVE stock of cards, these are available at 60% of current book price (Scrye magazine, where listed). Many common and uncommon cards are available for $0.50 each or less! I PREFER to use my cards as there have been many times when the signer has made a mistake and had to start over, totally ruining the card. However, IF I do not have a particular card in stock and if you accept this as an acceptable possibility, I would accept you shipping your cards to me to be carried to the event for signature.
- Pens - I provide the finest quality pens at no charge.
- Card holders - I provide Professional Quality top loaders and soft-sleeves (charge is included in the standard shipping & handling). Pro Mold Screw-Down holders and high quality photo frames (card size) are available as well - email me for a list of "Deluxe Card Holders".
Payment:
All forms of payment are due not later than 7 days from the closing of the auction.
All auctions must be ended and payments received not later than 7 days from the begining of the event.
All payments must be made in United States Dollars.
All checks will be held until the funds clear my bank.
